BACK IN BUSINESS: Wendy’s Milk Bar reopening at Shopping Centre.
Ice Cream lovers rejoice.
A sweet shop has opened its doors in Hinkler Central today with tasty options that are sure to tantalise your taste buds.
Wendy’s Milk Bar owner Kylie Hohn said the shop featured top desert picks such as ice cream, churros and milkshakes as well as savory sensations like hot dogs and hot chips.
“Our Shake n Dog is definitely very popular, as well as our hot chips” she said.
Ms Hohn, who has owned Wendy’s in Sugarland for the past six years, said the shop was also a feature in Hinkler before the floods.
“We were in Hinkler prior to the floods for about 18 months.” She said., “We decided to reopen now because it is the right time and we thought that it was needed in the shopping centre. There isn’t anything like it.”
Ms Hohn said a new addition to the brand was coffee and hot chocolate plus more seating available for customers.
“It’s great for anyone who needs to sit down and have a coffee break.” She said.
Ms Hohn has employed 11 local people to the store, in addition to the 10 local employees at the Sugarland milk bar.
She said people could expect great customer service and a perfect place to sit, relax and enjoy a special treat with the family.
